In the News
Based in South Florida, Tru Logistics was founded based on Trudie Ives’ combined passion for helping others and her love of motor vehicles. Tru Logistics is a female owned transportation company that upholds its values of trust, reliability, and understanding.
While working as an educator years ago, Trudie helped coordinate the transport of an automobile from New York to Florida for one of her relatives. One thing Trudie experienced during this time was that whether the transportation company originated in the north, east, south, or western part of the U.S., transportation is often fraught with delays, inexperienced team members, and unforeseen additional payments. Trudie felt that there needed to be a change in the industry and that she could’ve done a better job in scheduling and transporting those vehicles. That's when she began researching the path to becoming a driver and a freight broker. Trudie eventually quit her teaching job, made the dive into the transportation business full time and hasn't looked back.
